Years ago, the Rams installed the "Ground Chuck" system under coach Knox. It was a run-first offense. My 81-year-old brain doesn't remember what the team's won-lost record was during the Knox era, but I do remember sitting in the stands for Rams games, sharing my boredom with most of the eerily-quiet fandom. I also remember that we fans and the media complained constantly about the vanilla offense and Knox eventually got fired. Deja vu??
