IMO his arm may be a factor only if he hits the throws...so IMO the fins will make him throw. I also think that this team is still being held back more so by the O-Line play....If this cat is kept in a pocket he may get hurt. I'd like to see play action and roll outs. I'd like to see no huddle to start the game. But really it's hard IMO to gauge what this kid is going to do because he is an unknown quantity dealing with a known weak line.
We need to misdirect passes as well....if he has the arm he is said to have I'd like to see cross patterns and he throw against the play direction.....
IMO Goff is not the missing link to this O......the line is just weak at the LOS..with a decent line Gurley may have been more of a factor.....The real thing is our losses to the panthers, lions, and giants have already happened...those games could be the reason we are left out in the end.....
I'd also love to have this cat (Goff) have like 15-20 lbs. of muscle on his frame......this is a poor line at times....I just hope he stays healthy......more so then anything else....
