I agree with almost all of that, Rock.

Here's my FO take, short version.

Kroenke. Excellent owner to work for. Delegates complete authority to his execs. Doesn't meddle. Spends to the cap. Gives his people lots of time for a fair chance to shine.

Demoff. Perfect exec for contract management. A cap savant. Tremendous abilities at special projects such as the move. Good understanding about football and football players, not just a bean counter.

Snead. I'm a big fan. Unclear as to just how much his advice was followed by Fisher in all pick, trade, and FA matters. I suspect that Fisher overruled him on more than a few decisions, but I can never prove it. I think he's the best Ram talent evaluator since Klosterman of the seventies. There, I said it.

Then there's Jeff Fisher. Good HC at overseeing development of a D and ST unit. Can raise a 2-14 team up to the 7-9 level. Probably be fun to have a beer with. But when it comes to the O? He doesn't seem to know what he doesn't know. Like giving a gifted piano player student a tone deaf teacher when it come to the O. It's embarrassing, and I think it's gonna come to a stop come January.

The good news? I think that we're fortunate to have Kroenke, Demoff, and Snead in their various important positions. All are big time keepers in a hypothetical do over, IMO.

The bad news? Fisher is a mediocre HC and he's not likely to change for the better in these final 9 games. The handling of Goff and the regression of Gurley have made Fisher and the Rams the laughingstock of the league this year.

More good news? We will have a new HC next offseason. I would like to see GW and Fassel retained, if possible. But either way, we need a new captain of this ship if we ever hope to see the promised land.
