You know RFIP, that is true of all fans in any city you can name. Keep in mind the Rams were in LA for 49 years before they were moved
to St. Louis and in comparison if you check the attendance numbers over the years, 50s, 60s, 70s while in the Coliseum they were well supported.
And I know they had many sellouts in Anaheim until the later years when Frontiere decided she wanted to move and run the team into the ground.
The Rams under Dan Reeves and Carroll Rosenbloom had many great years in LA and that you can probably attribute to the reason they got good support from fans attending the games. Also, LA being a melting pot many who have moved in from other areas of the country would come to the games to support their old home town teams. Yes, losing will hurt attendance and you are right if they don't start winning it will show.
