It;s funny that people reject "lectures" about the idea that it is possible to see things differently. They scoff, and say we know that. Then go ahead and ACT like they have no clue about that.
That's just openly insulting. Accept the fact that there are other views, and it's not because the others with different views don't grasp the "truth" you think you see.

I don't believe for a second you don't get the difference between flame posting and being directly insulting, and being civil. I would imagine even the most stubborn "my opinion is truth" type poster actually GETS that distinction, they just ignore it. They accept being deleted for it and then just do it again later.

If the phrase "man crush" offends you, feel free to suggest another that conveys the same meaning but would not offend you, zn.
'Fallen in love with" seems kinda girlish.
'Will defend no matter how much he screws up" is a bit wordy.
I would advise not getting hung up on exact terms, phrases, or words. If the opinion of another poster(s) about Fisher strikes a nerve such that one attacks the messenger, well...

Last time I checked, many posters state bold opinions. And they often state them boldly.
And that certainly includes Fisher's qualifications as Ram HC.
There's only one way that isn't just you being a "my opinion is truth" style flame poster.
You just say, those I disagree with about Fisher.
You don't then get into PD board style flame posts basically dismissing and insulting them for not agreeing with your view.
It gets down to this. Either you believe in civil posting or you like to flame post those who don't agree with you. It's one or the other.
Or, you can flame post all you want. But in that case, live with being called on it. Or just ignore those who call you on it. If you like flame posting that much, it's a small price to pay I would think.
