That should be obvious by now.
In today's NFL drafting a franchise LOT that can't pass protect #2 overall is gross negligence and malpractice. You can find road graters that can't pass protect at that position at far better value than second overall. This isn't even considering that he still hasn't acclimated to the the position even from a run blocking perspective in a pro style offense.
All I was really saying was, he was ready to go - out of the box - as a road grader.
I don't think anyone anticipated that Keenum would have to throw 50+ times a game.
So all that means, to me, is that Robinson is still fitting into his new expanded role.
He's not as bad as people are making him out to be. Despite the inevitable posting of his PFF grade.
My own opinion is that he's an odd one. Hard to paint in black and white terms.
He's been good, he's been bad. He's been the 'best of times, he's been the worst of times'. Ya know.
He'll do something awesome and then he'll do somethin awful.
What do ya do with a guy like that?
