Just for the record...
I don't think LOT is our biggest priority in '17. Not even close. In fact, I would be stunned if one was our top pick.
Incidentally, I saw a facebook video of GRob posted by LeCharles Bentley on another board. Play after play of utter domination by GRob in that Lion game. Unfortunately, I don't know how to copy and paste it. Perhaps someone else can find it and post? It's a real eye opener, trust me. I REALLY question the PFF low ratings on GRob. But I digress...
Back to my impressions on '17 draft priorities:
DE. Hayes ain't getting any younger and Quinn's health seems game to game. Besides, Alyo likes the talent there in this draft, so why not take advantage?
WR. Britt and Quinn have looked good lately, but we're only 6 games in. And both are FA's next year.
CB. Almost too obvious. TruJo is hurt and a FA next year, anyway. Plus Troy Hill and Gaines got exposed when we had no pass rush vs Lions.
I'm a big fan of BPA, but I suspect that the best combo of BPA matched with one of those above positions will be the call at our 2nd round pick.
We'll have a much better read as this season unfolds, of course. But that's my take as of game six.
