I've been a dedicated Rams fan since Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen, Diron Talbert, and Coy Bacon manned the D-line.
Its a great thing I don't make a living predicting game outcomes. Otherwise I'd be asking for spare change here. With respect to my predictions and sports, use the Costanza principle. Also, with respect to the Rams, I'm very negative. I've just been too let down for too long to allow my hopes to get too high. For the first time in many years I was confident we'd kick the 49ers butts on opening day. I even made predictions at work.
I'm familiar with the Lions. A cursed team that usually gets the bad side of a bad call. However, last week they found themselves. (By the way, Lion's fans are much more forlorn than Ram's fans. Plus I always remind them that we have a ring).
My prediction: Stafford picks apart the Ram's secondary and the Ram's offence can't move the ball much. Lions 41, Rams 16. I'm sorry guys but that's how I feel. Since the loss to Buffalo I've eaten a slice of the pie of disappointment each day.
