You really have to see it again to believe it. Cooper runs a decent route but the "path" of the ball is going to be beyond Cooper as he makes a diving attempt for it but it is simply floated out there like a wounded duck and the DB plants and drives forward to pick it off. If the ball is thrown like it should have been, with NFL speed it flies harmlessly incomplete, and if gunned on target it is a completion.
There is another play on the final FG drive where Keenum has the ball smacked back over his head for a dangerous incompletion but if you watch that one again you will see he's trying to finesse it to Austin who is standing flat-footed between two LB's...if that ball is off target at all it's going to be another disaster.
