In my opinion it would have been better if Fisher just went for the TD on 4th and 4 instead of kicking the late FG.... I would have felt better about that decision.

But don't the numbers factor into that?

I don't know how well this holds up because I just thought of it but here goes. cool smiley

Down 23-16 they kick a FG making it 23-19.

They could have tied it at 23-23 if the 4th down works. But then Buffalo only needs a FG to win...and they had lost Tru.

With things as they are, with the FG not the TD, if the Rams drive down the field and score to make it Rams 26-23, a Buffalo field goal...if it even happens at that point..would just tie the game. .

....

I don't think Tru was out at that point iiirc??? Just think it puts the defense in a much better position down there to get the ball back if the Rams didn't make it...as opposed to what happened after the fake punt went wrong deep in their own territory . A much more Do or Die type of move at that point.... Just the way the game was going it seemed like the closest we were to the enzone in a while and tying the game there would have been huge momentum boost also.

Either way, it didn't work and the Rams lost a game most people thought they would lose anyways...missing 3/4 of the d-line and the 2-0 turn over deficit was too much to overcome.

On to Detroit who we absolutely killed last year in Detroit ....let's do it again!!!!
