Because make no mistake, by league wide standards that is all it was.
The bar is so low with the run game at the moment that we think nudging average is something to be happy about.
The last live game I attended at home was the loss to the Bills in St Louis. I expected that loss even though it sucked.
Today I didn't and that is so much worse.
Now I feel we are that 8-8 or 7-9 team that Fisher said was unacceptable on Hard Knocks.
Nice guy though he seems to be, he is the one who is unacceptable as a HC. Just dump him already, he's not even the Mr Average some people think he is, he's Mr Ican'tquitegettoaverage
You seem to misunderstand what I wrote. Let me clarify it for you. The run game was the best it has been all season. Rams actually had a resemblance of a running game today. Gurely had 72 yards rushing and around 30 yards receiving so he had combined yards of 100.
Tavon Austin was effective running the ball today as well.
That is better then we've had all season for the most part and yet the Rams were still 3-1 coming into this game.
They showed signs today they are perhaps correcting some blocking schemes and the way they attack the run as an offense.
You jumped to a generalized conclusion that I think this is sufficient. I never said that.
