The context of my post was that settling for Keenum one minute after Goff is deemed ready would be a mistake on Fisher's part, zn.
I responded to what you said. I quoted it, and responded. The context of my doing that is encountering the same mistake umpteen times.
But as long as you raised the topic, as with many things, the entire issue of "when to start Goff" is open to many views.
Why act like there's just one ironclad dogmatic notion about how that should happen? I mean there will be different opinions of it. But that's all they will ever be. Different opinions.
And btw I may be one of the few people who absolutely does not care when Goff starts. This Sunday, later, next year. My view is I am fine with any of it and see all the different arguments on it as being pretty much equal.
The only argument I reject is that the coaches screwed it up. To me that one is just message board tin foil hat stuff.

Actually, zn, you only quoted PART of what I said. Ignoring the part(s) that you didn't want to deal with.
And where the heck did that "ironclad dogmatic notion" reference come from? I was just expressing my opinion, man. Like everybody else on this board. For some reason, my opinion seems to be striking a nerve of yours. No need to get testy.
Ironically, I don't think that we're all that far apart on the Keenum/Goff thing.
We both want Keenum until Goff is "ready".
I think we both agree that Goff should start once he is ready.
We both agree that Keenum has a relatively low ceiling but high intangibles.
As to the "coaches screwed up" thing? Well, I think that that is very much open to debate, at the very least. But that's been addressed in other threads, hasn't it?
Carry on...
