As is his inability to put serious heat on the ball when needed.

It restricts the patterns the team can run with him at QB.

Again. Yes. That's known. I already agreed with that and have said it myself before. Though you're also exaggerating a bit (see the back-shoulder pass to Quick for a TD. He's not THAT restricted.)

BUT.

The point is, there are many who have denied all season he has the long ball you say here you know he has. That has been an uphill fight, getting some to finally SEE that.

THAT is my point. He had that long pass all along. He was using it last year.

But this is what I do not get.

We KNOW Keenum has limitations, and no one ever says different. BUT he also has a number of traits that make him effective in spite of those limitations.

Yet over and over people keep saying "well he has limitations."

Yes. We know. But there's also more to it than that.

He's a placeholder for Goff. That's clear and obvious. BUT he's a GOOD placeholder for Goff. And probably the best #2 caliber qb the Rams have had since...well name the last one cause it will go back years.

So I say, he's a good placeholder with more to his game than his limitations. And then often the response is...but he has limitations.

Sigh. We know...................

It is Not that he can Not make the Deep Ball at all
U R right he has shown he can hit that occasionally
Most Qbs can
But as I remember it he has shown a lot of problems to hit that kind of pass we saw yesterday to TA with any kind of regularity
The highlights on YouTube are misleading a little bit( as they often are )
That throw was a beauty
But I remember many terrible throws of that variety
Mostly way under thrown balls

Go rams!
