I recall Daniel Jeremiah making an astute comment on an episode of Path with regard to which QB, if any, that the Rams should take in this draft. Particularly in the 1st round.
This comment was made well before the trade with the Titans, btw.
He said, "if the Rams draft a QB that they're not certain can beat out Keenum, then they're drafting the wrong QB". That's somewhat paraphrased, of course, but it's pretty danged close to an exact quote.
I'm pretty sure he meant that in the context of opening day starter, or early on at the very least.
