Cody can play FS at a certain level of competency.
He was all academic all big twelve along with being a first team player at safety.
He just has some weaknesses. In change of direction at this level, but he was not stopwatch slow over 40 yards coming out his draft year.
He was more of a workout warrior actually (4.4 forty and all) .
His college tape showed an attacking player who could lead the defence.
Unfortunately I think the Rams want hitters first at safety and he is that I'm not sure how far he will progress as . Centerfielder or or average pass defender but he is smart enough to work out the kinks and not embarrass himself with an obvious blown assignment. Even if it means he has to lay back a bit on his aggression I'm sure he's doing what Greg wants within the framework of the D.
