Case is scrappy and he's doing just enough, along with showing weekly improvement that, granted, might have more to do with the defense he faced this past weekend. I do have reservations about him continuing too far into the season as QB, but overall he is doing what Fish said he would.
The receivers also seem to be improving at least a little game to game thus far. They are what they are; not a stellar group but they made enough plays that things were actually spread around a bit which will help.
Looking at this team right now the offensive line possesses our best potential for growth. They are still suspect on the stunts and odd fronts, really anything that tests their execution of responsibilities outside the norm. If they can do that we are going to see more seams for Gurley and a more consistent pocket which will help all around. And this looms as the biggest concern for me with Arizona on Sunday, because they are very multiple and varied in the ways they can test that unit.
I'm a happy fan right now, though. We are in a good place, and if the line can show weekly improvement this offense should be solid enough for this team to win a lot of games.
