Imagine if the Browns stayed at #2 and took Wentz.
I think its quite possible that Wentz would not look anywhere near as good as a Brown.
So I take that into consideration when trying to visualize Wentz on the Rams. I just don't know where he'd be playing for Fisher.
And conversely, I wonder how Goff would be doing in Philly or Dallas if he was playing under a more QB friendly coaching staff.
Certainly, Wentz looks dynamite right now, clearly making the Goff pick look very bad for the Rams so far. But we just don't know yet, we gotta wait and see.
I still come back to the fact that Goff is so much younger and inexperienced compared to Wentz and Prescott, who was a 5 year QB.
If Wentz and Precott were stinking it up, I bet we'd be a lot more patient with Goff, and yet that has nothing to do with Goff's status.
Goff sinks or swims on his own merit, not on theirs. That's what I keep telling myself.
