They're just brutal to watch. Yes a win is a win... I'm sure we will all take it and find some enjoyment in not watching another soul crushing loss.
But this team isn't good. I came away with a few things from today. Something about this game today gave me several 'realizations'
1. Jeff Fisher is a really bad coach. I think he would even struggle at the high school level. Greg Williams is the only great football mind on the staff. The rest of them remind me of guys that grew up together and are running a Pop Warner team.
2. This team lacks talent, especially on offense. There isn't a lot of team speed outside the 175 lb. #11
3. Very mentally weak team. Fragile. Easy to knock off their game plan. Eugene Sims today. Its even rubbing off on Donald (see 1st game ejection). All the penalties.
4. This one is personal:
I just don't like this team very much. Their personality. Their entire dynamic.
5. Someone needs to talk to Goff about his sideline body language/demeanor. He looks downright disinterested. Like that guy at every company that is just collecting a paycheck.
6. Win or no win, it is hard to get excited about what the Rams are doing. Look at where Prescott, Wentz, Brissett....and dare I say it, Bradford are with better offensive coaching.
I'll take the win, but to for me it didn't denote progress. It felt a little bit like the clock ran out on the Bucs. I don't believe there is any hope for this team with Jeff Fisher as the HC. That fact that he 'leads' this team is cringeworthy.
