Our bad isn't even remotely as good as their bad LOL. It's more like saying "At least there are other bad offenses in the NFL", to which I respond, "Yeah but the horrible O of the Seahawks is STILL more productive than the Rams O."
Just two games. *Deep breath* just two games. *sigh* I'm so sick of looking for bright sides with this team.
1. The Defense looks excellent and has started to answer some big questions to the affirmative:
- Can AO make the transition to MLB effectively? Sure looks good so far!
- How will they do without Jenks? Well, Hill had some trouble, but took some great throws to beat him and Gaines is coming back. And Sensabaugh is no longer starting.
2. The Offense looks bad, but they've faced two good defenses, should get some relief w/Spruce and Cooper returning this week and/or next. We're closer to seeing Goff and the hope he represents.
3. Special teams looks good: Hekker is the best punter in the league and GZ's kicks were all right down the middle.
4. No significant injuries so far and potentially key guys coming back.
In spite of only 9 puts scored, Rams are 1-1 - and tied for first.
The arrows are all pointing up for this team! Obviously, after tomorrow we could feel different, but I hope/expect to be 2-1.
