He scored 10 TDs last year. He is a great weapon. Throwing it to him behind the line from a stopped position is dumb and dangerous. Need quick slants, screens and go patterns. Also, I think we used the jet sweep like once last week and none in our opener. It's one of our two working plays. Hand it off to Todd or jet sweep to Tavon. Last year Boras was winning games with those two plays and fakes off them. This year he's trying to run a whole scheme. Guess what? We can only run those two plays. Maybe an occasional throw to Britt or Kendricks, but this is what we can do. I think we should do what we do well. Over and over and over again.
If they can add to his repertoire as a receiver that will be good. I have already seen a bit more this year than last year. But I think he was used before the ways he could be used. There's just certain things he can't do that a pure receiver could.
I agree with the bit I red-bolded. They need to get back to more of what they did with him last year. He got 9 offensive TDs using him the way they used him.
