Sad, but true. Fisher is over-relying on Tavon.
The last couple offseasons Fisher keeps saying "we need to find a way to get the ball to 11 more", as if that was the problem with this offense.
This entire offense is based around Gurley and forcing the ball to little Tavon who is never open when running routes. He is quick, but he is not fast. He does not get separation. He is just too small. He can't catch high passes.
We are wasting our time trying to build an offense around this gadget player. He is a great punt returner, and can help the offense, but Fisher thinks Tavon and Gurley are his golden tickets. All that does is suppress the rest of the offensive players from reaching their potential, ala Quick.
