this is the funny thing for me

Jet sweep to Austin. An effective play in 2015 and sure would have been a nice counter to the 49ers slamming LBs up the middle all night Monday..

Here's the funny thing for me. I don't buy the idea that they are predictable. In fact I think that's just a complaint mantra. Here's an example of that. You just listed a play which in fact they not only have run (all of 2015) but basically made work better than virtually anyone else. It also was so effective that Austin could be used as a decoy. So you list a play they should run to be less predictable, and in fact it's a play they made work at a high level already.

So where is predictibale in that?

Oh yeah they lost the last game. cool smiley

Meanwhile, was SF UNpredictable on offense? No, the Rams D had some issues containing Gabbert in the first half and it put the offense in a hole. This offense will never function well in a hole, not unless and until Goff emerges as a confident come from behind passer.

So I always view this whole thing as nothing more than a mantra complaint. I don't think it actually really means anything. I think it's the traditional discussion after a bad loss...some people try to indict the entire system, and others just see it as execution.

No one is ever in a position to solve that debate, so, it just because this repeat/repeat "great taste/less filling" thing.

Predictability of Rams offense is not the biggest problem
