Longarce didn't dress and Mannion 'isn't ready' to throw the ball perpendicular to the line of scrimmage or for 4 yards on 3rd and 8. There was no reason not to put him in the game last night especially after the 2nd pick. Case needed a break, it was obvious. Plus Mannion has a real arm so they could have at least thrown a few deep balls just to back the db's off a little. But oh no, we get Case, Case, and more Case. Honestly, if they really did like Case and wanted to keep him as the starter all year - isn' this the kind of game you'd take him out of? It's out of reach - why get the guy beat up?
