It's true, they do have a chance to win. There is way too much talent on the team to not occasionally show itself and win.
There are glaring holes on the field, primarily at QB and WR (STILL), but this team is WAY better than they played.
But entering year 5 of more losing football, punctuated by the all-too-occasional bright spot, just ain't gonna cut it. I like it when the Rams win, and they might beat Seattle which I love.
But Fisher has lost me, and he's very clearly losing this team. You think the Cardinals are gonna have a game like this? Seattle? They'll lose some ugly ones, but not this bad. 28-0 was a mercy. This should have been 45-0 but Blaine Gabbert still managed to look shaky and inaccurate while slaughtering our hapless D.
This is on the coaches. I'm down on Keenum and I'm down on Havenstein and I'm down on Austin, but when the Rams go 6-10 this year (if that) I'm done laying it at the feet of the QBs. Fisher owns this team, he's on year 5. He's done, his goose is cooked, and he needs to go, sooner rather than later.
A win next week won't change that unless it's followed by 14 more. (14 more in ONE season, not in the next THREE seasons). This game is the very reason he has yet to be extended.
