Be competitive in every game. Get Goff some time in so he can hit the ground running next year. Get a true #1 receiver next year. Compete next year for division. I just cannot see them really competing for the division this year. But it is imperative top get Goff ready for next year.
The college season obviously just started, and I have no idea about "depth" in the receiver ranks. But will 2nd round pick be early enough to land that great receiver?
Hope so. But they have a rather mixed record with that round lately. I was pulling for the Rams to draft Allen Robinson a coupla years back, and he ended up going 61st. So it IS possible. It's just not something the Rams have been particularly good at doing -- either that, or coaching up the guys they
do pick, etc. etc.
It's going to be a very interesting season, regardless.
