This was our biggest signing this off season for our offense IMHO.
We have not even seen the tip of the iceberg with our changes on offensive schemes.
I have noticed that Fisher has allowed about a 50/50 ratio to plays under center and QB in shot gun formation. That is Groh's influence to the offense. We need our QB's to see the field in certain situations and Boras and Groh have been able to add these formations to allow us more flexibility.
Gurley in for 1 series all pre-season and we march down the field and score a TD.....Tavon Austin, barely touched the ball, never got a toss reverse (yet, it was clearly there A LOT of times)....Tavon no punt returns.
Boras and Groh have not shown much at all.....Our best offensive players watched most pre-season....Can't wait to see some of the ideas the OC's come up with vs. the 49's because the playbook has not really been used IMHO.
And Fisher even said it after the Denver game - Denver knew TA wouldn't be getting the ball so they ignored it. Regular season is a whole other animal.
