Yes, I get that and agree. That's all I'm getting at. Above 7.0 YPA things tend to go much better. Whether that's through a higher completion percentage, longer pass plays, whatever. I think Keenum (and later Goff) can do that. Especially if the OL is as improved as I think it might be.
Rams didn't lack for long attempts (and completions). Combining Foles and CK, last year they had a higher percentage of attempts of 31 yards or more than either *(say) GB or New.Orleans. They also bested them in long attempts per game.
Where the Rams have always been a bit lacking is the medium and deep medium games (11-20 and 21-30 yarders respectively).
THAT has more effect on the YPA than any other single factor.
