My wife is from Amish background. The Amish do not say the pledge, or sing the Anthem, but they will stand with respect and not act like turds.
As far as the ACLU......well, I will temper my words. If they want to make a stink about how a player has the right to sit during the Anthem, then the team also has a right to discipline a player for conduct detrimental to the team and other such phrases in the contract.
