By not making the uniform change NOW. I do not buy the two year rule or whatever it is. That is B.S. If the NFL can allow a team to change CITIES, I think the uniform color change can be done with a simple stroke of a pen. Right now, there is a LOT of excitement over the Rams. People are looking EVERYWHERE for new Rams stuff but have to dig just to find a VERY limited selection. Hell, I see more St Louis "clearance" stuff than L.A. stuff. They are playing in the Coliseum, where nostalgia is rampant. 2019 is a LONG way off when you are talking about a team that has not done JACK POOP in TWELVE years. I'm sorry but if the Rams continue the 7 and 9 or WORSE crap, a THIRTY billion stadium will not generate excitement. Oh sure, the first few games will be interesting but only because of the stadium. Even if the Rams finish the couple of seasons with 10 + wins, I still do not get the point of delaying a steam roller of sales. Just dumb! IMO
It is my understanding that the NFL and whomever they have a uniform/clothing manufacture contract with ...i.e. Reebok,Nike,etc. ...they have a 2 year deal where new uni and colors cannot be sold ....this allows the Company to get rid of supply of stuff they have......so Rams would need to notify next year if they are going yellow and blue in 2019....
