Fish isn't that coach who shows his frustrations with specific players in the media. He usually generalizes with the group as a whole, but doesn't go into things to the player level. For him to come out with those comments, well, we should be reading a lot into them IMO.

I have heard him call out and criticize individual players the entire time he has been the Rams coach. Not just in the press conferences, but on JF live back when Savard and Farr used to host that.
So to me this is nothing new.
It's significant IMO but the method is not new.
