You better pick between Cooper and Spruce. 'Cuz none of those guys can run outside. And none of them can block. Austin can return punts and take about 5-8 carries. He's really a RB. Cooper can return Kicks, take 3-4 carries. And run from the slot. Spruce can run the slot. But he's an injury in the ready. I'm not a fan of Austin. And I don't want to waste a ton of cap space on him. But that decision appears 2 years away
Characterizing Austin as only a RB is simply wrong. NFL teams and defenses don't agree with you. I don't know if you noticed, but on that Cooper TD reception, Austin was double teamed by attracting the safety over which freed up Cooper. If Austin wasn't respected as a WR, he wouldn't have been able to be a decoy on that play.
