It's interesting about Fisher. He dumps the leaders. Sometimes I think he likes being the only leader on the team, kind of like a camp councilor.
You always see him talking to the players like they are little kids. It appears that he loves it. Here's how you stand at attention for the National Anthem. Are we lucky not to get hurt in our go carts? Don't forget to clean your plate.
That's what you get when you constantly set yourself up to have the youngest team in the league.
A sad example is the WR position. Who is the leader there? Not that knucklehead, Britt. Fisher has refused to bring in a vet like Boldin or Steve Smith. I find it infuriating and one of Fisher's biggest shortcomings. He seems to want to surround himself with dumb and/or inexperienced players.
By coincidence, is it possible that the people he dumps are expensive guys who have outlived their contract value and/or internal free agents of iffy quality who would cost them too much?
Yet we hear from camp reports and from reporters that the leadership void is being filled nicely by guys like Barnes, Ogletree, Donald, Hayes, Keenum, and Goff.
