He was a bit inconsistent but overall fine. In 2014, he had one bad game with a qb rating in the 40s…in the 2015 meltdown, in 4 consecutive starts, he had 2 games in the 40s, one in the 50s, and one in the 60s.
So if you compare his last 4 starts in 2015 to 2014, it's night and day.
Here are the numbers on the three sets of games: the 8 he started in 2014, his first 4 games in 2015, and then his last 4 starts in 2015 (the meltdown games).
All of 2014: 59.8% completions, TD% 4.2%, Int% 3.2%, YPA 7.0, avg. qb rating 81.4...
1st 4 games of 2015: 63% completions, TD% 4.5%, Int% 0.9%, YPA 7.3, avg. qb rating 98
Last 4 starts of 2015: 53.3% completions, TD% 0%, Int% 3.3%, YPA 4.9, avg qb rating of 53.75
Again...there is nothing like that series of 4 bad games in 2014. That's a meltdown so bad he got benched and cut after coming in as a starter.
