hager is clearly the backup to ao. i believe i saw forrest playing in ayers spot and not in the middle larer in the game. did anybody else see that? any other lb stand out?
If you read around on Kush he has a chance, yeah. Plus Boudreau has often made something out of that kind of player---basically, a developing young veteran lineman who has been with a team or 2. That's basically the Barksdale story.
IMO Forrest was always a back-up to Ayers from the day they drafted him. That's the spot he played in OTAs too. He was never a middle-LB candidate.
