Well, to me that's just it- neither has won the job yet. I don't think they'll really confirm the week 1 starter until after the 3rd preseason game. It sounds to me like Goff has come a long way from practices 1-2 to practices 8-9. And I think that will just continue through practices 20, 25, 30, etc. The kid just needs the work. Unfortunately with the new CBA they haven't had 25-30 practices by now like they would have 10-15 years ago.
