That's the huge thing, the option ...
But as far as his play? I am kind of a weirdo ...
He's a beast. A physical specimen and a monster. What I am okay with, even if he doesn't reach the all pro level we want? I want him to be average, with 5-10 plays a game where he destroys the defense.
As in, I don't care if he blows an assignment every once in a while if on 4th and goal he drives his man to Jupiter. As a risk, I never expected him to be a super consistent player ... but I need him to play like Tarzan if he's going to miss every once in a while.
I like extending him after this year ... so I hope he doesn't have a freakishly good year ... trying to keep his cost bearable.
