Although I am a NorCal native I too grew up loving all the LA teams. The Rams were my first, starting in 1969. Lakers and Dodgers in 1970 and 1971 respectively. USC Trojan football in 1972 and UCLA Basketball in the same year. LA Kings fan in 1973. Plus as a kid from California, even though it was NorCal I didn't know about the north / south division until I got to be a young adult. I get in arguments all the time with my NorCal friends and family because they are ignorant to all that SoCal has to offer and I stand with the SoCal side.
With all that being said, I am with you Grits. I thought they should never have left. I am so happy they are back and am now a Season Ticket Holder! I was very active in the bring them back movement and still am. Rams fans until we die Bro! I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to say Los Angeles Rams again, but I totally empathize with those in STL who are diehard and still loyal fans!
It's gonna be fun going to that old haunt, the Coliseum, and watch the current Rams on that field that all my childhood heroes did way back in the day! Now, if they ever come out in the white and blues of the 60's, I am gonna be Dick Vermeilling it big time! Hell, who am I fooling, I am probably gonna do it the very first game at the Coliseum! lol...
Later Brother...
