But do they throw it enough? That's scheme, or can they throw it enough? The personnel. Right now I am not sure its one or the other or both.
Its hard to judge them because you can put the raw stats up and it looks okay, but the attempts and #s just arent impressive at all...due to the flat out lack of passing the ball more. They are 32nd passing the ball and 32nd in TD passes, bottom line is regardless of what we want to say the cause is or was, they flat out weren't good enough as a passing team period.
32nd is 32nd and its dead last....ouch. When 7-9 should have been 8-8 easily with what they had...If they can be even marginal throwing it like 16-20th ranked in the league it will make a world of difference for them.
The Rams have a bunch of questions to answer. I am sure we will find out soon enough
