When they showed Stafford on the sideline after getting hurt I gave him 0 odds of getting back on the field. He didn't simply look 'hurt'.. I thought he was going to collapse and they were going to have to break out the defibrillator from the storage locker under the player bench. I went into Wentz mode. I would have paused for a second and made the sign of the cross in hopes the team Doc could restore Stafford to life but I didn't have time.... the clock was running.
And then Lazaru..... I mean Stafford came out of the cave, I mean off the sideline.... and didn't miss an offensive play? "Well", I thought to myself, "They've gone and done it... this game is AI generated". But then it occurred to me, "No. AI would have fixed the horns on the helmet".
I have always lobbied hard for a quality backup QB... been adamant about it. But with Stafford playing.... ummm, not sure we need a backup QB at all. - JamesJM
