That was a 3rd and 8 play too! We were a thicker wrist band on Perry from winning that. As much as that play hurt...... Take a good look at Perry. HE. LAID.OUT. and gave ALL on that play. Even though he was supposed to have help, he damn near made the play. I was SO proud of that 79 team. Blows me away that season was 43 years ago.
