The loss of draft picks for the 'rental' of experienced players and a few multi-year acquisitions... for example... but - All of it, no need to explain, we're all in the 'know'.
This question is for everyone but in this case I think the best draft and cap guys are probably best suited to opine.
First let me say right up front... I don't know... know how long they can keep this up. Year after year? That seems very unlikely to me.
SB's are all important... I don't doubt that, don't think anyone does.... but I think SB Victories are more likely when you're able to compete consistently... get to the SB as often as the NFL leading teams do. I'm not saying the Ram's are "all in" for this year and then it's over.... but it does worry me.
Obviously my hope for the Ram's is a SB victory... but in doing that I also want to see the Ram's join those 'nearly' perennial in the mix teams in the NFL. Can what we're seeing now accomplish that? - JamesJM
