Anyone take time out of their life to tune to that Pro Bowl thing?

I know the game was never all that, but it was IMO a good original idea. Set in Hawaii as a thank you to those players who were deemed the best of that season. A beautiful background to a hard season of work. A reason for the families to get a good time together. Fans to have fun, without the need to pull for your favorite team, but a chance to see the "Names" all at one place and maybe get to meet them as well.

Goodell took that away by moving the game around....made it more accessible to some, to me it's still a game that many have to travel to anyway. The lure of the game was the exotic sense of it being in Hawaii, for the fans as well as the players and families.

Brings me to that thing yesterday....dialed in left in less then 5 minutes never went back.....All the talk about it being a "New" look before hand for the week prior....bad, just bad IMO......It would have been better to just have a compilation of plays from the very 1st Pro Bowl to the one last season.....I would have looked at that for the memories of all those players.

I haven't watched a Pro Bowl in probably 15 years.

I watch it occasionally. Notable one: 2004 Marc Bulger MVP

Forgot that one. That was a good game. nm
