I think it's a good idea to trade two #1 picks for a young impact player like Jalen Ramsey (contingent upon retaining that player for several years). I would guess that about 50% of #1 picks turn out to be marginal players or busts, and a relatively low percentage of them turn out to be impact players. It's possible that the Rams would have ultimately gotten impact players from both of those picks, but the odds are in their favor that this will turn out to be a good trade for them.
