My brother the 9er fan called and asked if I was nervous yet. I said, no. He said he would be. And then he said something that kind of caught me off guard He said if you win its great, but if you lose, as a fan its soul crushing. My reply was this:
The Rams have been so bad for so long, I would take this season win or lose over a 5-11 or 4-12 year all day. he said he wouldn't. That really shocked me.
He said, even though he would never root for the 9ers to lose, he was disappointed they didn't get the first overall pick. But that SB loss to the Ravens was just brutal and he would rather have another season like this year.
I'm just curious, does anyone think like this? You'd rather be 4-12 then 13-3 and lose the SB.
Again, I am really at peace right now with the Rams, and have been for awhile. So I'm not in any way thinking they are losing tomorrow. I was just curious what everyone else's thoughts were on this topic.
