They guy is one smart cookie. He lives and breathes this football stuff. He knows the salary cap. He can crunch the numbers.
Anyone out there think this is what happens.........
McVay drives to work and just thinks about his roster, players and cap $$$. Then, he goes right up to Les and says, "Hey, can we get Peters out of KC? Is there a way we can make more cap space by trading Quinn?" "Hey Les, we need to keep Sammy because he's going to be my "GO TO" guy next season."
I just think McVay has given Snead a blood transfusion and has given new life in to our GM. Les, to me he has been good as a GM, but now he's really taking it to a whole new level.
Any thoughts?
