Tomorrow & next Sunday are Goff's last Hurrah for 2016

No matter how or why anyone on our Herd board has perceived JG after his first 5 regular season starts......... This young buck needs to step up and show more against the 49ers and Cardinals in his last 2 games of the 2016 season.

There are reasonable excuses to make on his behalf, such as the Rams crappy O-LINE, butterfingers WR's, lack of a running game or the Rob Boras OFFENSE etc...

The last 2 games for the Rams are against NFL teams that are imo... just as bad as the Rams for what ever the variety of reasons are the cause.

What I mean is obvious. The Rams are playing against equal competition (or worse) their last 2 games and I'm expecting JG to rise up and look better than the sample size he's shown to date.

I'm on record saying that if JG looks more of the same (ie: nothing extra special as shown in 2016) after 10 games in the 2017 season, I will get my eyes checked by a specialist.

That being said, he should be able to take some big steps in these next 2 games vs the level of competition. What those steps are in statistics?

I don't need to post stats and numbers to make it more clear than it obviously is...

Has he earned the starting job next year?

Are you really 'wondering' about that?
