With the Bills coming to town, I'll be paying special attention to their WR, Robert Woods.
The Bills selected Woody in the 2nd round of the 2013 draft out of USC. Since then, he's had a non-descript career. But I have to wonder if a player like him (route-runner/possession type) is really going to be able to shine with the likes of EJ Manuel, Kyle Orton and Tyrod Taylor at QB?
At any rate, if the Rams are going to look to improve their WR corp in the near future, they're going to have to do it via free agency. I'm thinking that Woods would be a great #2 WR target that could possibly be had cheaper since he's returning home and could be matched up with a pocket passer like Goff. Though I don't believe him to be a #1 receiver, I think that he offers more than what I see out of most of our current WR corps.
Thoughts?
