Rams have a short week now to get ready for the Seahawks home opener this Sunday.
1. Keenum will still be the starter at QB.
2. Goff may still be inactive
3. Team will play better against Seattle and maybe even win the game.
I'm 60 years old. Been a Rams fan for 50 years and have seen this scenario many times before. We all know this Rams team is better then what showed up last night. Yes, the Rams may have an issue in the secondary at corner. At this time none of us know if it is correctable or not. We shall see.
Rams played bad in all phases Monday night. The defense however, did tighten it up and clean it up in the 2nd half and played well.
The offense never got it together which is sad to say.
I saw a very immature team and that includes Gurley who shot his mouth off after a big run and cost the team 15 yards last night.
Arnolds tempertantrum was inexcusable and he should be fined and maybe sat down for a week.
Give credit to Chip Kelly and the 49ers for playing well and winning the game.
Am I excusing this performance? No. I was very very upset watching this Monday night. But there are 15 games left and I'm not quiting on the season just yet
If this same thing happens again this Sunday in the Coliseum then you may have something about Fisher being canned. Even as much as Kroenke and Demoff love Fisher they know they have to sell tickets and the Rams playing like this is not going to do it.
I expect a better effort and a win on Sunday against Seattle. Remember, the Seahawks should have lost at home this past Sunday except for one dropped sure TD pass.
