The hardest decisions are usually the right ones

Don't much care for Plaschke. But, he got it right this time.

The Rams let pragmatism rule over sentiment. That's how winners become winners and stay winners.

Do not feel sorry for Kupp. He has made a ton of money, at 32 years old is set for a life of ease and luxury, because of his 8 years with the Rams. He has won a Superbowl (something very few Pro players can ever say), and a Superbowl MVP (something almost always reserved for the winning Qcool smiley.

At this point in their careers, Adams is a head and shoulders better than Kupp. Kupp was used to being the leader in the WR room, he could no longer be that. Let him go to find the remained of his NFL career elsewhere, where his leadership and experience can help some other young WRs. And, where he can be himself.

It was an act of self-preservation and kindness to cut him.
