Wasn't the original plan to have Avila play center? And he was not working out so at last minute they tried Jonah and eventually went with Limmer.

Point being, JJ was brought here to play guard... And we already have Avila.


So it's really on Avila that he didn't work out.

JJ had played some center, but for Avila it was his natural position, supposedly.

No harm, no foul. He filled in for us at times, made some good money, and now he can go play guard for the Bears. And we dumped all his salary over to them.
